The Splendora Independent School District Board of Trustees approved its consent agenda at the April 28 regular meeting, voting 7–0 to adopt minutes, accept financial and tax reports, and authorize accounts payable totaling $5,215,736.46. The motion to approve the consolidated consent agenda was made by Kim Klepcyk and seconded by Jason Sessum.
Also approved were purchases of Amplify and Bluebonnet learning curricula and three donations from the Splendora Education Foundation: $3,034.10 for the Employee End of Year Awards Banquet Sponsorship, $4,340.00 for the Splendora High School Top 10% Scholarship Awards Banquet Sponsorship, and $1,000.00 for Teacher Appreciation. The board additionally certified the Provision of Instructional Materials Survey for 2025–26, approved probationary teacher contracts for the 2025–26 school year, and amended a resolution for installing a Masonic cornerstone on new school buildings.
Board members did not record separate roll-call votes for each sub-item; the single motion passed unanimously. The consent agenda motion was reflected in the official minutes as: "Voting for: 7 Against: 0 Motion: Passes."
