Representatives of The School gallery in Kinderhook told the Village Board on March 12 that their annual party is scheduled for Saturday, May 17, 2025, and that they estimate about 5,000 attendees. Chris Hanam and Clark Griffin, speaking for The School, said they plan to meet with Economic Development Director Renee Shur and CEO/Code Enforcement Officer Trevor Bean to address parking, alcohol management and other ways to minimize impacts on the village.
Hanam and Griffin noted last year’s signage and planning as successful and said they will return to the April board meeting to update the board on permit needs and mitigation plans. The board and staff indicated they will coordinate on traffic and parking; organizers specifically identified a plan to meet with Renee Shur and CEO Trevor Bean to finalize logistics.
