Residents raise concerns about former Carolina House use; Climate Smart group reports NYSERDA grant change

Bill Mancini, chair of the Climate Smart Task Force, told the board that the $50,000 NYSERDA award approved in May is being withdrawn, but that NYSERDA is offering a $30,000 up‑front grant for similar projects. Mancini presented a draft list of possible projects, including an energy study for Village Hall, and said he would meet with the mayor and board next week to refine priorities.
