Board appoints LOSAP trustee, hires part‑time DPW member and approves limited website staffing increase

The board adopted a written resolution appointing Glens Falls National Bank & Trust Company as Trustee and Investment Manager for the Village of Kinderhook Volunteer Firefighter Service Award Program (LOSAP). Mayor Dorene Weir read the resolution and trustees listed as Administrative Delegates included Mayor Weir and Trustees Browne, Patterson, Monahan and Murphy.
Trustee Patterson moved to accept Mayor Weir’s motion to appoint Darryl Lafferty as a new part‑time DPW member effective Aug. 1, 2024; Trustee Monahan seconded and the motion passed unanimously. In executive session trustees also approved increasing Kristy Silvia’s hours from 5 to 10 per week through the calendar year to complete the new village website and assist with water and sewer billing.
