The Pendleton School District board approved the annual renewal of the district’s five-year Sodexo food service management agreement on June 9. Board materials and staff reported the contract was originally approved on Feb. 13, 2023, and that federal requirements necessitate an annual board approval of the renewal.
Staff noted "the only change to note from our prior contract is a 3.8% cost of living adjustment to the fixed price per meal charged to the district." Director Jill Pace moved to approve the Sodexo contract amendment for 2025–26; Director Ryan Lehnert seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
