Senior Executive Director Todd Bloomquist presented an overview of the district’s bullying and school-violence prevention efforts, describing schoolwide lessons on kindness and resilience, trusted-adult connections for students, restorative practices and staff training in de-escalation and safety.
Bloomquist shared data on bullying and harassment incidents and on student-to-staff aggression, which staff said is often underreported. He told the Board that the district is working to strengthen early behavioral supports, increase family engagement, and expand partnerships that promote student wellness.
