Lakeview principal Lee Tyler told the board that average daily attendance at his campus was just under 95% and that chronic absenteeism was "just under 8 percent," noting improvement over the three‑year average. The principal highlighted that grade‑level reading growth met i‑Ready expectations for most grades and that 58% of students were at or above grade level in reading compared with 24% at the start of the year.
The student‑support‑services director reported that the department earned a federal IDEA determination of "meets requirements," highlighted 100% compliance on certain data reporting, and described improvements including completed annual reviews, a family‑input survey exceeding 100% reporting for one indicator, restored Medicaid billing for the coming year, and a new TA onboarding packet and professional development program. Board members thanked administrators for the work and asked that activity calendars better communicate school events to the board.
