Commission approves professional services agreement with Gallo Herbert Architects for building-department facility

The chief administrator recommended that the commission approve a professional-services agreement with Gallo Herbert Architects to provide owner's-rep and project-management services for repurposing the old fire station into a building department facility. The contract is limited to the same monthly rate provided to the city for the prior six years and is not to exceed $5,000 per month.
"He has agreed to provide the services at the same rate he has previously provided for the last 6 years in the amount not to exceed $5,000 a month," the chief administrator said. The project was described as likely to be completed in less than 12 months and to be funded from building-department funds. The commission adopted a resolution to authorize the agreement and to authorize appropriate officials to execute documents.
