Jordan water staff report good chlorine and turbidity readings, note two recent water-main breaks

Water Operator Williams told trustees that chlorine levels and turbidity in the village water supply 'have been good lately' and that the UV plant is currently waiting for more bulbs. Williams also said he and Pay Byrnes have been assisting the neighboring Village of Elbridge because that village lost its water operator.
Frederick DiRisio reported two recent water-main breaks: 'there was a water main break 1/14/25 on Brutus Rd then another on 1/20/25 on Rte 5.' DiRisio also reported that 'there is currently no part available to fix the van' used by water staff and reminded the Board the next Joint Water Project progress meeting will be held on 2/20/25.
