Board approves District and Campus Improvement Plans, GPA policy updates and hears program reports
Summary

The Tuloso‑Midway board on Oct. 20 approved the District Improvement Plan (DIP) and Campus Improvement Plans (CIP) as presented, and approved updates to the TMHS GPA policy (EIC LOCAL) on second reading. Both approvals were recorded as unanimous votes of trustees present (4–0).
During the meeting staff also presented informational reports: the TM Virtual Academy update and the Bilingual/ESL Annual Program Report. Those reports were for information only and will be revisited at future meetings (the TM Virtual Academy report was noted for Nov. 10 and Nov. 17 agenda items).
The minutes do not include substantive excerpts from the reports or new quantitative targets; they record approvals and scheduling for follow‑up discussion. The board heard a briefing on required trustee continuing‑education topics as part of meeting announcements.
