The minutes state: "It is the Administration's recommendation that the Board of Trustees approve the delegation of hiring authority to the Superintendent for all contractual staff below the level of campus or district administrator, as presented." Trustee Rick Chapa moved for approval; Trustee Brian Boone seconded and the motion passed 6-0.
