Utilities director cites staff certifications; engineering team wins awards

Dan Hollis, director of utilities, opened the department report by congratulating Danny Quinn for earning Collection System Maintenance 2 certification and by listing several recently filled or posted utilities positions.
"Just wanna congratulate, Danny Quinn on collection system maintenance 2, certifications," Hollis said. Engineering director Sarah Busan Johnson told the committee that the treatment plant received an engineering excellence award from the American Association of Engineering Companies and that the project was subsequently recognized with a national honor award in the same category.
The committee had no further questions and the chair closed the reports section. The meeting review followed and the chair adjourned the committee at 08:40.
