She also outlined a pressing resource problem in elementary science: the division relies on FOSS kits and has incomplete materials, and staff do not expect the state's curriculum adoption list until 2027. "We will not get the list until 2027," she said, noting that delay complicates any large purchase because a future state adoption could render locally purchased resources obsolete.
