Presenters described a student-council-led plan to house 14 egg-laying hens on campus so each homeroom could name a chicken and share weekly responsibilities. Staff said the hens would be sourced from a local farmer who would take the birds in winter, and a local builder would supply the coop; students would manage day-to-day care. The presenters also highlighted professional photos and a promotional video taken by Call of Balloon to support classroom-agriculture outreach. Community members in attendance asked about logistics and applauded the student-driven approach; the board acknowledged the project and later discussed relevant procedures.
