Acropolone presented a project total of approximately $1,728,975.90 under the recommended option and said this was within the project's estimated $1,873,472 budget.
Commissioners discussed contingency numbers, mobilization and local impacts; after clarifying figures and confirming funding (including a $300,000 FDP contribution and stormwater fund balance), the commission authorized the award and approved the bid waiver necessary to secure Shenandoah for the lining portion. The vote to award the contract and approve the waiver passed unanimously.
