Tarkington ISD staff presented an update on Operations Hero, the district’s suite for maintenance and operations management, during the Jan. 20 meeting. In the absence of the maintenance supervisor, Kristy Fruia, district staff including Kristy Fruia (listed as absent), Child Nutrition and Custodial Supervisor Kristy Fruia (noted in materials), Communications Director Stephanie Young and Chief Financial Officer Thad Lasater described system components HeroHQ, InventoryHQ and EventHQ and explained anticipated improvements to work-order management, preventative maintenance, inventory tracking and event scheduling.
Presenters said the systems are intended to centralize asset management and improve operational efficiency; no board vote was taken. Staff will continue implementation and monitor metrics for work-order turnaround and preventative maintenance compliance.
