Arthur L. Johnson softball team honored for sectional championship

Superintendent Dr. Ed Grande and other administrators joined trustees in thanking coaches and parents. The board said it values public recognition of student-athletes and emphasized that presentations like Monday's highlight extracurricular contributions to school culture.
The recognition was followed by routine business; trustees resumed the agenda after allowing the team to leave if they chose.
