Tarkington ISD presents Stronger Connections Grant climate survey results

Tarkington ISD staff presented results from the Stronger Connections Grant (SCG) climate survey during the Jan. 20 school board meeting. Stacy Trost, the Stronger Connections Grant Coordinator, together with campus principals Brandon O'Neal (TECS/TES), Dr. Mary Lariviere (TMS) and Latoyia Pea (THS interim principal), outlined participation numbers, the survey's purpose and an overview of engagement, environment and safety metrics.
The presenters said campuses will continue to analyze the data and design action steps to address areas indicated by the survey results. The presentation did not include a board vote; trustees heard the report as part of the information and discussion items.
