Junius board tables Energy System Local Law pending SEQR clearance
Summary
The board opened and closed the Energy System public hearing but tabled the proposed law after the town did not receive required SEQR documentation from the county planning board. Planning Board Chair Linda Mott was asked to follow up.
The Town of Junius did not vote on the proposed Energy System Local Law at its Dec. 18 meeting after the town attorney advised that the board had not received SEQR documentation approval from the Seneca County Planning Board. Planning Board Chair Linda Mott will contact the county planning board to determine what is required.
The board formally opened the public hearing by motion (Councilman James Patsos; second Councilman Kyle Black) and later voted 5–0 to table consideration of the law until the next meeting. No public comments were recorded during the hearing.
