At the Feb. 11 meeting board member Rich Rote reported that The Real McCoy’s is being sold and that the new owners plan to operate under the same name and license after purchase, with mostly cosmetic changes and an eventual name change planned. The minutes say the prospective new owners will continue under the existing license following purchase.
Rote also raised property concerns: he said Konner Toelke still has pop machines on the sidewalk that need to be removed, there is a lot of garbage collecting in front of the building, and that a lien exists on the building for a past‑due water bill. The minutes note a stickered car that had been parked in front has been removed. No enforcement action was recorded at the meeting.
Rich Rote moved to adjourn at 7:45 p.m.; Judy LaFurge seconded the motion and it carried. The minutes were attested by Village Clerk Kimberly K. Satness.
