Residents raise maintenance concerns; board notes petition pickup window for upcoming terms

Ed and Sharon Larson asked the board to inspect and repair a broken water shutoff; the board also noted petition pickup for expiring terms with filings due the week of Nov. 12–18 and only Mike Wise having picked up a petition so far.
During the Oct. 22 meeting Ed and Sharon Larson told the board that someone drove over and broke their water shut off several years ago and requested the village inspect and repair it so the water can be shut off if needed; the minutes record that someone from the village will look and see what needs to be done.
The board also discussed whose terms are ending and reminded attendees that petitions are available for pickup. At the time of the meeting only Mike Wise had picked up a petition; petitions are to be returned to Clerk Kim the week of Nov. 12—18. Rich Rote moved to adjourn the meeting and Jody Pieper seconded; the motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 7:35 PM.
