ACM/DCD Glen Cole told the Commission the City will hold a special meeting at 7:00 PM on Monday, June 22, 2026 to consider a plat of subdivision related to the City’s pending acquisition of a property on Algonquin Road intended to serve as a new human-services facility.
Cole said the unusual lot configuration could require a vertical (three-dimensional) subdivision and associated zoning relief. Staff will circulate materials to the Commission in advance of the special meeting. Commissioner Modi said he would be unavailable on June 22 due to business travel.
Staff indicated that continuing the ADU hearing to June 22 may avoid the need for a July regular meeting if other applications are not ready. The special meeting is the next procedural step for the Algonquin Road acquisition and any necessary subdivision or zoning actions.
