Wendy Sledd, Executive Director of Communications for Waco ISD, reviewed a breakdown of the Waco ISD campus survey during the attendance‑boundaries workshop on Dec. 5, 2024. The survey results were presented as information to guide discussion of draft boundary maps and to inform the Attendance Boundaries Citizens Committee.
Sledd presented the survey breakdown to trustees and consulting staff; district materials and the consultant's draft maps were described as tools for community feedback rather than final proposals. Board members did not take action on boundaries at the workshop and scheduled additional public review at a citizens committee meeting on Jan. 16, 2025.
The campus survey and consultant maps will be used in upcoming committee deliberations. The district encouraged participation in the citizens committee meeting to allow public input on the draft options.
