Trustee Jaime Gaona asked for additional specification on the proposed 10-ton HVAC unit (item 4.E.10) and recommended considering an alternative manufacturer or tabling the item to clarify scope. The Board tabled the HVAC purchase and approved the remaining items. "Motion to table item 4.E.10. and to approve all other items under 4.E., as recommended by the administration," the minutes record; the motion passed 4-0 with three absences.
The Cops in Schools renewal was the largest single item in the list and funds seven school resource officers with scheduled payments from August 2025 through May 2026.
