Public Works Superintendent Jeff Kluck reported he identified and repaired an oil leak in the village police car after the village officer reported the vehicle was parked and out of service; Kluck ordered oil cooler lines and completed the repair. The board recorded that repairs were done so the car could resume service.
The board reviewed a ComEd map for planned tree trimming in the area, discussed Christmas light removal and needed replacements at the park, and heard that no hydrant replacements are currently being quoted. A previously quoted vacuum truck purchase was deferred because of other large projects and funding constraints. Trustees Jeremy Knox, Jeff Kluck and Otis Holley indicated willingness to serve on a liquor committee. No public comments were presented during the meeting.
