County approves part-time forensic pathologist agreement with Erie County

The board approved an intergovernmental agreement with Erie County for part-time use of the Erie County forensic pathologist for the 2025 calendar year. The agreement carries a $3,500 retainer fee and stipulates autopsy fees above that retainer will be billed at $1,100 each. Commissioner Patrick Kline moved to approve the agreement and Commissioner Robert Snyder seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
The minutes record the effective dates (Jan. 1, 2025 through Dec. 31, 2025), the retainer amount and the autopsy fee schedule. The minutes do not include estimated annual usage or a cap on autopsy billings.
