The Board of Trustees of the Spring Branch Independent School District on May 12, 2025 reconvened after a closed-session hearing and voted 7-0 to uphold a prior Level II grievance decision stemming from a Level Three FNG complaint filed by M.A. Board President Lisa Andrews Alpe called the Special Meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. and certified that public notice complied with the Texas Open Meetings Act.
President Alpe announced the board would hear the Level Three complaint in closed session because it involved both employee matters and personally identifiable information about a public-school student. The board recessed at 4:01 p.m. under Texas Government Code Sections 551.071, 551.074 and 551.0821 and returned to open session at 5:23 p.m. Vice President Courtney Anderson moved to uphold the Level II grievance decision; Trustee David Slattery seconded and the motion passed by a 7-0 vote. The meeting was adjourned at 5:23 p.m.
