Nine of 12 Class 92 recruits achieve LawFit gold; individual scores announced

Investigator Volk and Investigator Brady presented LawFit and defensive-tactics awards to Class 92 and explained the department's fitness expectations for sworn personnel.
Volk said LawFit compares strength, endurance and aerobic capacity to the general population and assigns point values for each exercise. "Scoring 250 points or more indicates the exceptional fitness level of the officer and is referred to as gold status," he said. Nine of the 12 recruits achieved that gold level.
The LawFit scores announced were: Austin Gregg (270), Dawson Guzik (283), Ryan Howard (287), Jason Latempa (273), David McCabe (257), Cameron Morris (268), Tyler Roche (252), Benjamin Bridal (261) and Shane Scott (256). Investigator Volk also singled out Officer Cameron Morris for recovering from a knee injury and improving his LawFit total from 156 to 268.
