The Cumberland County Board on Dec. 9 adopted its 2026 meeting schedule and approved a series of fiscal items, including FY25-26 tax levies for Special Service Areas 1, 2 and 3 and routine payments and payroll.
By voice vote the board approved the FY25-26 levy for Special Service Area 1 (ambulance service) at $3,962.00, Special Service Area 2 at $61,119.00 and Special Service Area 3 at $217,145.00. The board also ratified payment of invoices totaling $168,467.14, manual bills of $682,072.73, and two payroll periods: Payroll #23 for $108,165.30 and Payroll #24 for $112,718.56.
Chairman Floyd Holkenbrink opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m. and the session adjourned at 7:38 p.m. The board handled the items as routine business and recorded motions and votes throughout the agenda.
