Engineer outlines schedule for Teutopolis street and utility projects

Mitch Hardiek of consultant Milano & Grunloh provided a project update to the Teutopolis Board on May 6, laying out funding and construction timelines for several capital projects. He said the village expects an Illinois EPA funding decision on the Cast Iron Project by July 1 and that the STU project is expected to begin construction in August or September.
Hardiek also reported the John Street Box Culvert project will proceed once required precast materials are completed, and that a preconstruction meeting for the Harvester Street project is scheduled for next Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. The board did not request additional action at the meeting beyond acknowledging the timeline.
