Julie Nastasi of T&M Associates told the council the property owner at 22 Girard Ave asked to postpone final paving until after Labor Day because of summer traffic concerns. "The property owner at 22 Girard Ave requested to delay final paving until after Labor Day due to summer traffic concerns," Nastasi reported, and she said the borough ordinance allows a 90-day settlement period.
Nastasi recommended the council approve the postponement provided the applicant maintains a bond and recommended a deadline no later than Sept. 30. Councilman Penta noted a similar request has been received for 39 Girard Ave and said that request will be addressed separately.
