Waco ISD reports progress on new Waco High School, Kendrick Elementary and South Waco Phase 1

Regarding South Waco, Dr. Spicer said Phase 1 move-in was nearly complete and that new classrooms, a library, an administration wing and a gym would be ready by early December. Renovations to the existing school and kitchen are scheduled to begin over winter break with completion expected by August 2025; teachers were relocating and a board tour was planned for early January.
