Waco ISD board approves consent agenda; two trustees recuse on separate bid items

The board excluded two items from the initial motion for separate votes after trustees announced recusals. Trustee Keith Guillory recused himself from item 7.B, the Bid Award for Maintenance Supplies, Equipment and Services; that item was approved on a separate motion by Jeremy Davis, seconded by Jose Vidana, and passed 6-0. Trustee Angelo Ochoa recused himself from item 7.E, the Bid Award for Long-Range Strategic Planning Consultant; that item was approved on a separate motion by Keith Guillory, seconded by Jeremy Davis, and passed 6-0. The consent agenda included multiple procurement awards, memoranda of understanding with community partners and minutes from the Nov. 21 regular meeting.
