Superintendent Shaw read the resolution, noting the district “consists of approximately 1,100 regular certified and support employees,” and urged the board to post the resolution in all buildings to recognize staff contributions. The resolution lists days during the week to honor administrators, teachers, custodial and maintenance staff, bus drivers, assistants, preschool employees, secretaries and other support personnel.
The motion to approve the resolution passed by roll call with members voting in favor and the chair announced that the motion carried.
