Kermit ISD board authorizes KJHS vestibule, marker boards and multiple contractor payments tied to 2023 bond

Trustees approved the KJHS vestibule project for $76,582 and the purchase of marker boards for the junior high campus for $26,683.70; Trustee Aaron Hardaway moved on one item and Trustee Ramiro Antillon moved on the other, both seconded by Trustee Lorina Lujan, and each motion passed unanimously.
The board also approved vendor payments associated with bond projects: payment to Hellas Construction for Baseball, Softball and Tennis in the amount of $184,539.44 and payment to Hellas for the KJHS Track and Turf project in the amount of $65,453.60. The board approved payment to JMJ Plumbing for the KJH HVAC project ($11,826.00) and two payments to Terracon for track and turf work ($2,148.25 and $913). All payments were approved by unanimous vote.
