Kelly Rider, executive director of the River County Chamber of Commerce, updated the TIFA board on upcoming Chamber events and financial strains. She said the Chamber is currently working on a Christmas Walk and reported that "sponsorships had decreased and that they lost money on the event this year." The board was told the Chamber Board will discuss options for the Logging Festival going forward.
Rider also noted that a Stream Update was included in meeting packets. The update prompted questions about how TIFA resources and local events interrelate; no formal board action was taken on event funding during the meeting.
