Fred Vogt brought 200 Duck Race tickets for Committee members to sell and invited members to distribute them at upcoming events. The Duck Race is scheduled for September 27, and Vogt said ticket sales will start at the block party; the Historical Society was noted as an ongoing seller at Trinity Lutheran Church craft fairs (third Saturdays, June–September).
Members discussed participating in the Fourth of July parade. Vogt offered to carry Committee signage on his vehicle alongside the Historical Society and members agreed to coordinate signage before the next meeting. No formal vote was recorded on parade participation; the item was treated as coordination and planning for outreach and fundraising.
