The Ellis County Library Board voted to approve a draft library services contract with Ellis Public Library and to forward it to the county attorney for legal review and then to Ellis Public Library for consideration. Chair Kylie Honas made the motion and the minutes record the action as contingent upon receipt of sufficient tax revenue; the board said the final contract must return to the board prior to execution.
"Kylie Honas moved to approve the draft library services contract with Ellis Public Library, contingent upon the receipt of sufficient tax revenues, and authorizing the draft to be forwarded to the county attorney for legal review and then to Ellis Public Library for review and consideration," the minutes state. The board approved the motion and directed the contract through legal review before returning it for final approval by the board.
