Henrico increases SCADA contract to $8.01 million for countywide systems replacement

The Henrico County Board of Supervisors approved a fourth amendment to the professional services agreement with Arcadis U.S., Inc. for the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems replacement project. The amendment adds $1,012,182 for additional construction-phase services and implementation support, increasing the contract total to $8,009,930. Funding is available within the Water and Sewer Revenue Fund.
The SCADA project covers replacement and upgrades at the Water Reclamation Facility, Water Treatment Facility, and 34 pumping stations countywide. The amendment includes project administration, inspection and support services, submittal review, supplemental training, and development of standard operating procedures for system maintenance. Department of Public Utilities staff recommended the amendment and the County Manager concurred.
