Henrico Board adopts 2026 regular meeting schedule, notes March budget hearing time change

The Henrico County Board of Supervisors adopted its 2026 regular meeting schedule during the Jan. 13 session, establishing meetings generally on the second and fourth Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Room. Exceptions include a single fourth‑Tuesday meeting in July, a single meeting in November, and two meetings in December (first and third Tuesdays). The Board also specified that the March 24 meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m. to allow for the public hearing on the FY 2026‑27 budget.
The resolution includes contingency language allowing the Chair (or Vice‑Chair if the Chair cannot act) to postpone a meeting by one week if hazardous weather or other conditions make attendance unsafe; the minutes note that members of the Board and the news media will be notified and that notice will be posted on the meeting room door.
