The commission closed the hearing and approved a motion to recommend the amendments to council; the motion carried by the recorded notation "AIF/MC." No members of the public were present to speak during the hearing.
The commission's action means the proposed ordinance language will move to the next procedural step: consideration by the City Council. The changes as drafted address how cargo/shipping containers will be defined and enforced under general provisions and through regulation in zone-specific chapters.
