Consultant: Playground to be finished this year, full facilities work due Sept. 1, 2026

Schmidt said Complete Control will handle bringing the district's fire system up to code and that the district will receive separate quotes that include and exclude bus-area and van-parking work. He told the board that "all bidding processes are expected to be finalized by mid-July, and the overall project is anticipated to be completed by September 1, 2026." The presentation also noted that the playground is projected to be completed this year, with HVAC work scheduled for next year.
Board discussion recorded in the minutes did not include specific contract amounts, bid awards, or a vote on a contract at the June 18 meeting. The board directed staff to continue the bidding process and return with estimates and any required procurement actions at a future meeting.
