The Darlington Community School District board met in a special canvass session on April 4, 2025, and confirmed the results of the April 1 school board election. Carly Winslow, School Board Clerk, called the meeting to order at 9:07 a.m., and the board recorded members present before moving to adopt the agenda. A motion by Linda Bawden, seconded by Sheila Andrews, to adopt the agenda "as presented" carried.
During the canvass, a motion by Midge Steger, seconded by Linda Bawden, "to confirm the following election results from the April 1, 2025 Spring Election" was approved. The board recorded the confirmed vote totals as: Bob Hermanson, 1,119 votes; Matt Crist, 1,093 votes; and Jason King, 1,159 votes. The meeting concluded after a motion by Carly Winslow, seconded by Sheila Andrews, to adjourn at 9:25 a.m.; that motion also carried. The minutes and actions from the session are listed as draft pending formal confirmation at a subsequent meeting.
