Mayor Kevin Anderson announced the board’s appointment of Edward Rosette as provisional superintendent of the Department of Public Works, effective Aug. 10, 2026. "I, mayor Kevin Anderson, do hereby appoint Edward Rosette to the position of provisional department of public works superintendent effective 08/10/2026," the mayor said during the meeting.
The board voted by roll call to confirm the appointment. Rosette, who the mayor said has 28 years of service in the village, briefly addressed the trustees and noted DPW priorities including road work, crosswalk painting, brush pickup and park improvements. The mayor and several trustees welcomed Rosette and invited his family for a photo at the front of the room.
