Rockport School Committee unanimously approves 2026 school calendar

Committee members discussed a possible flexible date for early May release tied to prom and clarified the final day of school could shift later if the district uses more snow days. With those caveats noted, the committee approved the calendar so staff could proceed with planning for field trips, concerts and other calendar-dependent events.
"That passes unanimously," the chair said after the vote.
