Tourism director highlights events, department wins approval for CRM and mobile app contracts

Christine Worth, Director of Tourism, presented a sampling of promotional materials and program updates and said her department reviewed Wayne County listings in the I Love NY program and reprinted its birding guide with plans to update and redesign it next year. "On May 13th, three journalists toured the region as part of a visit focused on local food, beverage, and cultural museum attractions," the minutes note.
Worth also presented two transmittals seeking (1) authorization to enter into a contract for CRM software and (2) authorization to enter into an agreement with STQRY for mobile application subscription services. The committee approved both transmittals by a 5-0 vote. Worth closed by reminding the committee of several upcoming events, including the Seneca Chief (June 18–20), a bike tour (July 11–19) and the Wayne County Fair (Aug. 10–16).
