District reports 97% ELA participation; staff to meet with students on dress code proposals

Assistant Superintendent Jennifer Rylott told the board that 68 of 70 students (97 percent) participated in the recent English Language Arts state assessment, exceeding a 95 percent participation benchmark. She outlined upcoming math and science testing dates and thanked staff for achieving strong participation.
Rylott also reported she will meet with Miss Potter and three student representatives (grades 9–11) to review the dress-code survey results and align student proposals with administrative goals before presenting recommendations to the board. Superintendent Brian Doelger said the district will continue to enforce the current dress code until a new policy is adopted. "We are currently enforcing the policy we have in place now until a new dress code is adopted," the superintendent said.
