Danny Floyd told council the proposal aims to keep lots affordable for Bertram residents and noted the developer is seeking variances for 50-foot-wide lots because of lot location near railroad tracks. "We're trying to make it affordable for Bertram people," he said during the presentation. Staff and council discussed sewer and water capacity and noted the concept plan and negotiated DA would return to council for consideration. Council voted to accept the letter and allow staff to move forward with negotiations.
