The Lumberton Independent School District Board of Trustees approved its consent agenda on March 5, 2026, including minutes from the Feb. 5 and Feb. 25 meetings, listed expenditures and several donations. The board recorded expenditures including $340,156 from the General Fund and $96,574 from Food Service and accepted donations such as $2,000 from the Lumberton Bass Association for middle school support.
Board action on the consent agenda was moved by Trustee Kenny Burkhalter and seconded by Lauren Rothe; the motion passed unanimously (A-6 N-0). Trustees also reviewed an investment report showing a total market value of $19,670,656.80 as of Jan. 30, 2026, and received tax-collection figures for January 2026 (M&O $966,786.71; I&S $420,476.16).
