Superintendent highlights student honors and community recognition at Lumberton ISD meeting

Items listed in the Superintendent's report included a Law Enforcement Appreciation honoring K9 Ayton; multiple School Board Appreciation gifts from campus groups (Girl Scouts cookies and school-specific calendars, books, student artwork and handcrafted items); updates on a softball project; and athletic honors for high school volleyball and varsity football.
The Superintendent's report also named band leadership honors and identified Dr. Chet Deaver as the Raider Star Award recipient. "Law Enforcement Appreciation-Honoring K9 Ayton" and the list of school-wide appreciation items were entered into the record as part of the Superintendent's presentation to the board.
